El conductor fue identificado como \u00c1lvaro Contreras y el cami\u00f3n es de propiedad de la empresa Transportes Navarrete. Al lugar del hecho acudi\u00f3 Carabineros de la Cuarta Comisar\u00eda de Yungay.
