Una manera sencilla de evitar estas molestias que pueden llegar incluso a la rotura del medidor, es protegerlo con elementos aislantes como cart\u00f3n, plumavit o pl\u00e1stico. Hasta el momento no se han reportado emergencias importantes debido a esta situaci\u00f3n, no obstante el personal de la compa\u00f1\u00eda se mantiene atento a los requerimientos que puedan presentarse como consecuencia del intenso fr\u00edo.
